Title: Are Antelope considered other big game?
Post by: Deke on October 08, 2009, 06:10:36 PM: Here are a couple photos that were taken a couple weeks before the big Washington Moose hunt. You know just a little r and r before the real hunting started. Seriously, hunting antelope with a bow is as much fun as a a guy can have!! Check out the posting in youtube under montana archery antelope (landwehr outfitters). These are the guys to hunt with if you want some fast paced decoy action!

One goat was decoyed to 25 yards, the second was a spot and stalk and it was actually closer to 20 yards. I am telling you, hunting antelope with a bow is awesome! They are out all day long; you just have to get the right opportunity. For every 10 sneaks that blow up, one works. The nice thing about goats is you get lots of opportuinity to play!

Post by: elkspert on October 08, 2009, 09:06:08 PM: Ya, that's awesome. We archery elk hunt the Missouri breaks in Montana and the antelope are usually in full rut. Alot of the local kids are out hunting them and they tell us how much fun it is. They always have a ton of action and seem to get a few. Will defiantly do it someday.
