We will be running our Indoor 3-D every wednesday & Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. 34 shots for $8.00. With prizes awarded weekly.
We will also be launching an extensive membership program for 2008 that will include lane access, Indoor 3-D, and product discount.
Their will be a ton of other things incorporating our lanes like seminars, clinics, lessons, rental equipment, and much more.
You got to check it out!!

olyarcher,
I am so very glad to see a post by you and to hear that your shop is still open! :)
I will keep recommending your shop to anyone from south western Washington that needs a great shop to take their bows to.
I have always felt that your shop gave Excellent Service to All of your customers. Now with your new goal of even better customer service the customer is really going to be on the winning end of the deal!
The Very Best of Wishes to you for the New Year!
Dick

Thanks grandpawrichard,
You have always been a big supporter for us. I really do appreciate that. Our new plan came about after realizing the limited time that I was spending on the range helping my customers become better shooters. I was getting so caught up in selling bows and set ups that I lost track & time for helping my customers and creating a great shooting environment. I just need to balance the two.
Well now we have that and the customers love it.

I dont know if any of you have payed attention or not but Oly archery is no longer the doors have been closed. There is someone looking to buy the place and word has it that the new owner will honor our memberships for those of us dumb enough to give the old owner our money..................... :bash:
-
So all this talk about them being closed a while ago is true now?? :dunno:
-
yes it is.it was very convient because it was close to shoot but know you are left to either set up in your yard or travel to shoot.witch is fine with me but if you gave him money to be a member then you are out and that really sucks. :(
-
never gave the guy money and only went in the shop once! I used to work at the archery house in chehalis, and now I use Lucky Shot. Quite the hang out I must say!

I got alot of crap for asking if they were closed at the end of 2007 when they were shut down for 4 weeks. They opened off and on for a few weeks in early 2008 and they have been closed now for about 6 weeks. I drive by twice a day and the same note is on the door. The website says "Notice: The shop is temporarily closed. Check back for updates."

Man that sux. I have a membership their good til the middle of October. Rob when did you find this out?
-
Damn, I wanted to see if they had archery classes for kids.

Damn, I wanted to see if they had archery classes for kids.
They kinda of did, and I am sure a new owner will. After all kids are future customers.
-
Hopefully everything turns out for the better on the customers' side. I was lucky enough to get clearance from the local gun club to build a small archery range using an unused pistol range. I am just about done. Wish I would have done it last year.
-
I know a buddy is pissed, he just slapped down the cash for a memebership and then closed.
-
yes I to am one of those people that gave 150.00 to be a member in feb. and you cant tell me he didnt know this was coming back then.kinda sucks, because you some of you know he use to work for my company and I have been listening to him talk about this property he bought from a family friend at the wynoochie wildwood.so basically my membership and some of your payed for a vacation spot on the wynoochie.very nice >:(

I know that I stopped going there years ago because every time I went in it seemed like I was intruding on their space. I would literally stand waiting for 15 minutes and never get helped because they were too busy b.s.ing with their buddies and bragging about how good of hunters they were. I got fed up and went to Chehalis. I hope who ever gets it this time will do a decent job. They will have to to compete with Cabela's and Sportsman's Whorehouse.
-
I don't think Cabela's and Sportsman's will be much of a problem for the new owner of Olympic Archery. The key is to treat your customers right and turn them into repeat customers. The new owner needs to focus on satisfying his customers so that they will come back and bring their freinds. Reputation is everything. As long as Olympic Archery has been around I hope that someone does buy the shop and re-open it.
-
I don't think they have had a real good owner since Leo retired.
I hope someone can bring it back also. Does anyone know who the new owner will be?
-
Good ole Leo, he was one of a kind. But I remember he would take off and close shop anytime he wanted to and go hunting, baiting, guideing, etc. Not even Leo was always there and open.
-
Up until Friday both OA webstites were up. Now they are both down.
-
Hmmmm, ain't looking good.

You right but he didn't do it when it wasn't season and he always came back :chuckle:
