Does anyone know if Crescent Lake Pheasant release site is a non toxic required area? Also is copper or nickel coated shot considered non toxic?
-
yes and no.
-
argh... thx for the info.
-
anyone know where i can find 16 ga 2 3/4" non toxic for less than $3.00 each?
-

"Does anyone know..."
Hell yeah somebody better! That's a huge fine these days, in possession of lead. Just to make it easy on you, remember ALL WDFW PROPERTIES IN WESTERN WA ARE NON-TOXIC ONLY. And no trapshooting, for the most part.

Outdoor Emporium has Federal 3" #3 shot steel shells for <$18 for a box of 25. That's $.72. I didn't see any 2 3/4 there though....is your gun only chambered for 2 3/4?
Do you really need to shoot bismuth at $3.00 a shell just to be non toxic?
-
he might have to depending on the age of his gun

All of my shotgun's only take 2 3/4" which isn't a problem to find in the 12 ga but 16 and 20 ga steel in #4 are hard to come by in 2 3/4" I'm thinking i may have to go with bismuth in those though because of their age.
