Had the camera about 20' up in a tree about the same from the trail.

I gotta do this kind of thing during shed season with a Delta or Glendale buck horn!!   Way up in the tree angled down tho! :chuckle:

Great idea about angling the camera up in the tree, too bad we have to resort to placing them up high so *censored*s don't take our cameras.

Cut a piece of 2" flat stock about 2' long drilled some holes in it to screw lags into a tree and then drilled holes for the bear box.Bolted the box to the flat stock and to the tree and then bent the stock to the angle I wanted.I used my self-climber to get up in the tree and work from.Also put some eyebolts on the box and wrapped a bike cable around the tree and secured it with padlocks.
