-
Crazy big forky bedded down behind a homemade ground blind :dunno:
-
A buck behind a rock.
Cant tell if its a spike or just can see part of his rack
-
It's a rock buck
-
BIG forkie or spike behind that bigass rock on the bottom center.
-
I agree with Jack on this one.
-

not big enough for this weekend.
;)
-
I bet alot of the boys would be happy to spot that.
-
I think you photshopped the horns out of the first picture. :chuckle:
-
Bone...its a 3x4 . Broke out my binos and looked at the compter screen.......pretty sure....lol
-
I thought hed have a lil more to show once his head wasnt tilted downwards.
-
I bet alot of the boys would be happy to spot that.
I definately would be.
-
Is that a local buck bone?
-
How many of you have been presented with this shot.........He is walking away, is the pulse rate increasing. Are you hitting th e ground and taking rest on the pack......

I'm holding out, normally i would be too. come november i will be too...once the firestick is stowed and the stickslinger comes out.
-
id be punching one right down through the front shoulders.

Methow deer Kirk....
(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv47%2Fboneaddict%2FAntler%2520Images%2Ffb08.jpg&hash=30bb23f84d7940c45e92341547e7f2b18e234179)
-
I'm with you Kirk. Stick the crosshairs right on top of the shoulders BOOM!
-
:dunno: Maybe if we had a better photography that knew how to take a pic in focus we'd be able to tell. :chuckle:
-
That buck only has a couple days left to live if he does not find a better place to sleep. Head to the hills if you want to live.
-
So here is another question.........kinda............word of advice for the newbies headed out this weekend.
Ever have tunnel vision.....concentrate so hard on one deer you lose site of the big picture.......
(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv47%2Fboneaddict%2FAntler%2520Images%2Fstufffff.jpg&hash=509a546ba9999f99b1021618331d3b351c374e2a)

-
That second buck looks a little heavier then the first one. I like the dark antlers. Were both bucks in the first picture you posted?
-
No, he was in the rocks up above out of frame.

I shot my first buck with that angle. Marlin 30-30, broke his back at the base of his neck. Worked out pretty well, I'd do it again, and yes, I'd shoot that buck this weekend, given the chance.
-
Is that a 2x4? Not that I care, I'd still split the back like cheap lumber...
-
I wouldn't pass that buck up in WA with a general tag on public land...
Maybe if I had private land access or a drawing tag I'd leave it alone, but that's about it.
-
He had a broken main beam Empyre so his front fork on that one side was gone.
-
Gotcha. I like the bigger boy, but i probably would've been guilty of tunnel vision. ;)
-
For me, yes, come opening weekend that is a dead deer if he gets in my scope.
-
Nice posts Bone, and even better timing!! :)
-
Thanks! Have to admit I have a little pre season excitement going through me eventhough I've already tagged.
-
I would like to think I would hold out, but I'm probably lying to myself. :chuckle:
-
Nice Muley, Forked horn possible 3X3, spread looks about 20 inch's.
-
:bfg: :brew: :rockin: Mark

Funny you should say that. I'm looking at all these posts and I have that same excitement - even though I'm not going. I hope that everyone does well, anyway.
-
Nice pics and buck! 8)
