Title: GMU 113 & 117
Post by: runningboard on October 15, 2009, 01:04:52 PM
for you guys & gals heading over to Selkirk or 49 this year. come on over to the Camas Center where I work and say hi. :hello:
We have a deli, hot showers, hot-tub, steam & dry saunas & pools for a minimal fee :twocents:, we provide the towels. if you are just going to grab something to eat just tell the folks at the front desk and they'll admit you without charge.
we are located 1.8 miles north of the Usk bridge on LeClerc rd. right behind the church on the Kalispel Indian Reservation. where the Buffalo corrals used to be. our herd is still there but we have moved the round-up corrals closer to the river.
I am not going out on opening weekend so will be there all that time. :'(
Might be the only time you go out deer hunting & get asked "did you bring your swimsuit?"

:dunno:  What do you mean, I only hunt in my swimwear?   :)  Nice offer, I'll keep it in mind if I make it up there one more time for bear.

Great offer thanks.  Wish I would have known about this earlier when I was up there for my Moose hunt, I might have stopped by one of the times I drove by.  If I make it up again, will be sure to swing in.

lots of whitetails down here in the valley, went up looking around up higher today and surprised no camps yet. :dunno: only saw a few guys scouting and a few woodcutters.
you newbies remember! deer don't chew copenhagen or run chainsaws! let's be careful out there and have fun.

LOTS of wood maggots out there! I think everyone is cutting wood this year....wonder about the permits though.

When was that place built Runningboard? Been by there a 100 times, but didn't know. Ya know how everyone stops at the gas station by the mill/river for snacks. Wish I'd known.....glad to know now though, Thanks!

Not quite sure about either of these since neither have seemed to be a hamper to success.  In fact, I think they conglomerate aroud the saw noise knowing there's new food to be had soon.

understand your point but what I meant was if it's chewing copenhagen or running a chainsaw, don't be shooting at it!
LittleToes, we opened to the public in Feb 08, the store has good food, not as good as when burger hut was still in that little tralier in the parking lot but Mel, the guy who used to cook had stroke and they bought him out and moved it inside.
went out today even though I was suppoesd to be working, saw a bull moose up close and personal. but not much else. wnet high in hopes of seeing mulies.
