Title: Brute down by Cashmere
Post by: teal101 on October 19, 2009, 08:32:40 AM: My buddy lives up in Peshastin and told me about a 400lb blackie shot by a 14-15 yr old kid deer hunting. Anybody hear anything about it? Sounds like a brute!! Thats about all the info I got on it.

Post by: Cylvertip on October 20, 2009, 09:52:22 PM: The wife of one of the guys I work with was over in that area over the weekend and got a picture of a huge bear in the back of a white pickup. I will see if I can get the pic. It may not be the same one, but it is a hog for sure.

Post by: teal101 on October 23, 2009, 10:05:29 AM: The story I heard on it if it is in fact the same bear is the kid was sitting on top of a rock watching a ravine. He seen the bear cross the road below him and it came right up the hillside towards him. When it crested the ridgeline he shot it.
