and one in the Okanagan when we road hunting. Still learning how to hunt...right now I am "vegetarian". Did get a rabbit though which was nice

Post by: BigGoonTuna on November 01, 2009, 09:26:45 PM: i finally made it out for the first time in my new area, walked a half mile and saw 5. they sure were jumpy, all of them flushed, the last one jumped in shotgun range and i nailed him with the 12 gauge :IBCOOL:

nothing better then eating an animal taken with a gun you inherited.

Post by: bankwalker on November 24, 2009, 08:55:23 PM: the girlfriend and myself will be hunting grouse in unit 460 this weekend. 7 mile walk from the drop off point to the pick up point. should be a fun walk. and i usually see quite a few grouse along the roads im taking. sense ill be walking this time it should be better sense i wont have a noisy truck scaring them off.
