Title: Mule deer hunt for Black tail hunt

I'm interested in this, would like to learn more. If its something worth doing I'd even be willing to come through on my end first. Nice Blacktails are harder to come by than mulies. Of coarse I can't guide, that wouldn't be legal, but I'm always down for another good hunting partner.

Not always but we've busted them well over 400 more than once. Let the road hunters bag the spikes and forkys, they all eat good but something about that extra bone on the head makes them taste that much better.

Thanks for showing those pics, wish more people would post more pics of blacktail, tired of looking at whitetail, and Mulies. Although I can't say much because I can't figure out how to post mine off my phone yet. Keeps saying downloads disabled, can't figure it out.

Those bucks he posted are some hard to beat bruisers no doubt, not in a competition here, just was saying I could guarantee spur_ride a good buck. I've got some nice bucks to show as well, their all west I-5 bucks no benchlegs.

Anything drivable gets pounded so hard I swear they need to start putting up traffic signs, you may get lucky getting one this way as I do with my wife every year because she's not into walking plus I take the kids, but for me all walk in areas is where its at! Less hunting pressure, better buck to doe ratio, and more mature bucks. I would find out where your walk in areas are, find a high spot where you can glass down into about 10 foot high jacks and wait for one to pop out in an opening, one WILL slip up for sure.
