Ok, weather is probably going to be crap...again, but i have to give it a shot. The one area I have been covering he has been wandering around in and I can never seem to be in the right place at the right time. And the last time I was out the weather was horrid. Rain and hail mix.
I know he is out there becuase last time he left a nice big steamer on the ground for me and then the weather hit. He has to be the same bear that has been leaving sign all over the area since the beginning of the season.
Keeping my fingers crossed

Got all geared up to head out and the weather went south on me. Bad enough that it wasnt even worth going out.
Ended up going to the range to rezero my rifle for new ammo since Elk is right around the corner. Few shots down range and my scope completely dies on me. Looks like moisture found its way in somehow. Ran to the gunshop, picked up an el cheapo Konus and had it mounted and boresighted. Ran back to the range and got it dialed in. Only to have a buddy call me and say "dude, your going after elk with a 30-30? Forget that, you can borrow my .338" LOL!
So the AAR is, never even made it out after bear, broke a scope, replaced a scope only to find out I didnt have to. What a weekend :bash:

Thats what the wife said. Maybe I should just stick to the "gathering" part of the equasion. Because the "hunter" part isnt working out to well for me. :bash:

Their is a razor clam dig coming up, and you may still find some good chanterelles too. :chuckle: Just kidding man.
Keep after it. The more time you spend in the woods, the higher the odds get of things coming together.
At least that's what I've been telling myself. :bash:
Sorry for the "Over-quoting®".
