Title: Double Droptine Blacktail
Post by: Timber_Hunter on November 02, 2009, 10:16:16 PM: I have been reading the stories and enjoying the pictures for about a year and have finally decided to post something. I archery hunt elk, rifle hunt deer and love to fish. I managed to get my deer on the last day. I had never seen a blacktail with droptines, let alone symmetrical droptines. My dad and I hunted really hard and got wet and cold. I got home took a shower and then my dad called me and told me that this buck was with a doe on his property. He was rutting like crazy and I got him at 30 yards. I still can't believe it!

Then, The second week of rifle season, I saw him again, on private property near my house, he was acting rutty then, not swollen up yet, but just standing there with a doe and a stupid "shoot me" look on his face.
