-
HEck of a nice buck. Too bad.
-
UUh, U mean a 4 point muley. Nice buck, hopefully u get a chance in late season!
-
Sorry :P, watched one too many redneck east coast whitetail shows. . . yes you are correct. . . nice 4 point muley

I still don't understand the reasoning behind calling the one side. Where i grew up, 8 points is an 8 pointer, but here it's a 4 point. In the midwest, 7 points is a 7 pointer, but here you call it a 3x4 and don't use the word point.

Just regional dialect to my knowledge.

Yeah fluentvoo I am the same way. But then again, there are no minimum requirements in Alabama where I grew up either. People up here really get offended when I don't get it right!

yea kinda weird , i grew up here most my life , i say 8 point or sometimes 4x4 , but what gets my is the eye guard situtation , to me thats a point to others its not

Is it me or does this seem to happen more often than not. . . these deer/elk/turkeys/bears seem to have a keen sense of when it is OK just to appear out of nowhere and strut their stuff? :bash:
These animals are a lot smarter and have a six sense that we don't seem to give them credit for. Maybe I'm just a green hunter (actually check that. . . I am) but seeing game is easy. . . when you aren't hunting for them.
Anyone else have pictures like this one? I must admit that it is quite fun to snap pics of these animals its as close as you can get without actually killing them!
-
Nice pic. I bet they are in the area, just not as active with all the orange in the woods, though the rut has definitely stepped up a notch.
-
a week before late buck modern they will be hot
-
I don't think it is as much where you are as what your looking at!!! If it is a whitetail even here in Washington it would be a 7point, if it is a mule deer it is a 3x4. :twocents:

That's a great looking buck.
