Love these critters. I'll sort through and see if I can find some new shots, or ones that haven't been seen too many times or ones that I just love. LOL We inherited a salamander last week.

never posted pics before so hopefully it works. These are obviously not from around here. Had the opportunity to go to Thailand for 2 weeks in april. Not sure of the species but i kept some distance from the snake. the gecko's are absolutely everywhere, including in your sleeping bag and falling on your head in the middle of the night.

Don't know my snakes by name...here is one trying to warm up on some rocks. It was taken in the Mt. Hood area, while on a hike to a high mountain lake.

The "locals" called these lizards Jesus Christ...as they can actually walk across the water!

Actionshooter saw this one sunning himself in the middle of the road!

Just to give a little perspective the pipe in the lower right hand corner of the picture is 1 inch piping. This is only the second one of these little guys I have seen and it was in my back yard in Omak. The other one was on the road in front of my house.

As far as I know we only have two kinds of toads in WA but I know very little. :chuckle: The colors can vary but doesnt mean its a different species.
