Not that I don't enjoy all of you fine peeps company, I'm just sayin, I'm hoping for better luck outside the pumpkin patch! :chuckle: And if lucks not on my side then I still have my Coweeman cow tag to hunt in January. Anyone out there ever draw/ hunt that tag? If you would please let me know what to expect. Good luck to all. Mark

Post by: Dean44 on November 03, 2009, 10:41:49 PM: Ripper, my wife and my son had the January Coweeman tag these last 2 years. It was a great hunt for each of them and they each got their first elk. Lots of encounters. If I had the tag, I would use a handgun to add to the fun. We made some pretty close sneaks that would have been great for a short range weapon.

In the past the signs said walk in only. now its nothing at all. Not sure why. Everyone be safe and have fun. :dunno:

I'll take a guess,

trespassers going around signs (quads)
trash dumpers
poachers
vandalism
theft
More and more locked gates every year, shouldn't be hard to figure out why!
