Title: Where can i get live birds???
Post by: bonneylakebowman on November 05, 2009, 11:10:33 AM
I have a 9 week old german short hair lab mix that i have been working with. I have just been using pheasant wings in the yard and she is pointing on them.  I have also been draging them around on a string and throwing them in the bushes and she has been tracking the scent all the way to the bush and then pointing.  I would like to get her on some live birds as soon as posible but I cant find any anywhere.  I would prefer quail or pigeons right now but eventually pheasants later on.  thanks.

I have bobwhites, as well as pigeons and pheasants right now. They will sell out as soon as the season ends or I will shoot them up myself as I find the time.

Carp, you are probably thinking about Goldenwest Gamefarm in Goldendale. Great folks did some trading with them a few years ago.
