Title: Installing a buttstock swivel on an 870 Express Synthetic. . .drill size?
Post by: atomicjoe23 on November 07, 2009, 03:07:41 PM
I got an Uncle Mike's sling swivel set for my 870 Express Super Mag. . .doesn't come with instructions telling which size drill bit I should use to install the butt stock swivel.

I don't wanna drill the hole too big right off the bat, but I don't wanna keep on slightly enlarging the hole either. . .anybody know what size drill bit I should use?

Thanks!

Worked like a charm. . .I just wanted to make sure that I used the right size drill bit. . .

. . .gonna replace it with the Blackhawk/Knoxx Spec-Op's stock with the PowerPack later, but I need a sling for turkey season now!

Thanks again!
