I was browsing through some of my pics on my computer and found a few nice blacktail buck pics I thought I would share. The quality isn't the best (cheap digital camera and lousy photographer) but some nice bucks. All of these bucks are in a private community with no hunting allowed. I'm sure a few of you will know where I took these. This first one was just bedded in someones yard.
-
Here's a huge buck hot on the trail of a doe during the rut. I had a hard time keeping up with him and not going on to other peoples yards.
-
The rest of the really tall buck.
-
I'll try to post some more tomorrow, that is if anyone is interested?.....
-
I liked it.. ;) Keep em coming.
-
I love big blacktail pics, even if they are domesticated. Lets see some more!!!
-
Cool Pics looks like it could be a friend of the family now. Thanks for posting
-
That second buck is something else, keep the pics coming.
-
Those are awesome blacktails. Like the rest said...keep em coming!
-
more please
-
Saw this buck thrashing the heck out of this brush/tree that had been cut down.
-
And then cut tried to cut him off on the upper road as he followed a doe between some more houses.
-
Where these bucks live is surrounded by timber company property and some state land here and there. I know some of these bucks get hunted at some point when they leave the area. Most of these pics are during the rut with the bucks chasing does. I built houses in this area for years and mostly only saw the big bucks during the rut.
-
those are some monsters.
-
Here's a couple in velvet in the early stages of their horn growth.
-
And the bigger one by himself.
-
I don't see that Mineral lick in the picture!! :chuckle:
-
If I was to live there, I am sure my bow would be screaming for some action!!
I am glad they have adapted to the houses, but DANG it would be nice to take one of them. I love that big tall one!
-
This my be my last one. :( I look on my other computer for more. I think this is my favorite buck of the bunch, although the pics do him no justice. He was really symetrical and a lot of mass. His width was nice and has good forks and main beam. Enjoy.

A couple more.
-
Last one?
-
All of those are great bucks, thanks for posting them.
-
sexy lil area there bro
I guess I picked the wrong damn development. Even for pic taking chances thats awesome.
-
Great pics, thanks for posting them.
-
Hunterbuilder, is that the Skyline development? Looks familiar but it's hard to tell. Awesome pics of some dandy blacktails.
-
Not Skyline. Is that in Anacortes? This is farther north.
-
Yea above the marina. I built a few houses in there a couple years back, they have some giant bucks in there too.
-
Great bucks, and glad you shared the pics.
-
Lakewood?
-
HB,
you need to go into selling realestate. I think you could charge double what the market would normally be if there are animals like that on the property. :guns: :EAT:
