I'd be all kicks and giggles if I ever got to hunt these boys.

What a pig. I too would love to hang one of those from the wall.
-
Yep
-
Is that an ear tag on his right ear?? Something red there.............. :dunno:
-
Very well could be. Lots of them are tagged. They may have a tagging operation going on now at the feeding station I'm not sure. They have errected somesort of structure. i was trying to figure out what it was. Its shield with plastic so that the general public isn't watching. I'm guessing its s sort of trap. :dunno:
-
Id quit applying for goat and moose all together if I could ever draw that tag!

That sh*ts funny right there i tell yah. UMMHUH
Nice mammel......Just put it on the list of things to start putting in for.
-
nice pic

That's a very big cali ram. I went over to Oak Creek and drove around Clem and couldn't find anything but ewes...Bone's got the secret spot.
-
boneaddict - I heard they were doing some transplanting....that was probably what the structure was for.
-
Interesting. I heard they were going to move some to the Rez. They won't last long. I wonder where else they might be moving some. I was going to take a long hike to get some higher pics of them, and also maybe play with some cats as they like mutton, but not sure of access. need to talk to a warden if I can muster one up.
-
I hope your just yankin my chain about moving them to the rez! They already get guarenteed tags in many of the areas. Some times equal numbers as the WF&G gives out for that unit. Mt. Hull - 2 WF&G, 2 Rez >:(
-
No chain yanking here. I heard that and they were alloting a bunch of tags to them as well. I never saw the final total in print. Ramslam, Passion, or somebody else might know the skinny on that.
-
I heard the same thing. I think I read that there was proof of them there before it was settled so they want to restart the heard wont work though as they will be shot up quickly JB
-
Hope they are buying them from WF&G. Lord knows us hunters paid for them and not them.

Just so I got this straight:
1) They get to buy a WF&G license and put in with the rest of us, reducing our chances
2) Get an equal number of permits for special permits areas like Mt. Hull (non-ceded) that we can't put in for with far better odds of drawing
3) Get to put in for a rez hunt on ceded land that the rest of us non-tribal members can't
4) Its all funded by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - i.e. Tax payers grants
Am I missing something here? Not an anti - just want to be clear on this!

lol.....welcome to indun friendly Washington
