Pretty sure he is a return buck from last year. Approxiamately 100 yards from where I photographed him a year ago.....I'll be back next year :)

Man what a pretty deer.
-
 Hmm. I can't seem to get my gps tracker I put in your pack when you were not looking to work. :(
That's a dandy right there.
-
Actually he was 35 yards from where I last photgraphed him. The dominator WAS standing right about where this pic was taken...... I think this is the second buck in this thread. I think he'll do less watching this year :chuckle:

Got them side by side Bone, 100% sure thats the same buck, nice find.
-
Yep I concur! Definatley same buck. His eyes seem really dark almost like he has mascara on or something. Very cool looking.
-
Def looks like the same deer... nice job Doug.

Yeah, I'd have to agree......same.
Throat patch, brow, and ear coloring are identical.
Nice find! :)

Look at how the last couple inches of the tines bend in the exact same way, the brows are in the identical position as well.
-
Same with his flare on the one side withthe G2 hanging in. About ONE more year. :)

Looks like the same deer, but this year he has longer eye guards and less outside spread.....wonder what he is goona have next?
Nothing wrong with the one you got this year though......
-
Less outside spread.??? He gained a couple inches compare the ear on the left side(our left)
-
I must have them confused, which picture is from this year? one is clearly beyond the ears and the other is almost even.
Optical illusion?
-
First is this year. He is taller so that does add some to the illusion. Mostly look at the left.
This is who had to watch this year.....see him in three years. (who the buck was watching in the last pic)

Same deer IMO. The faces are too identical. Kind of an odd shaped snout on both of them too.
-
I'd almost go out on a limb and say we were looking at one of his kids or younger brothers in the smaller buck. Lots of comparisons in physique and bones.
-
Nice shots bone... yep...same buck. He'd be a good one for an arrow eh?
-
Wow, there all Nice! Ok, I'm ready to go! ;)
-
Looks like the same buck to me too. Especially when phool stacked the pictures ontop of each other. He made some great progress since last year too, can't wait to see him next year.
-
i think you are right about it being same deer :twocents:

-
looks like the same scar on the inside of his right ear as well
-
What do you guys think? 4 year old deer? One or two more years and he'll be in his prime...
-
All he needs now is age...that frame has the potential for deep forks and good fronts. Nice photos, as always!
-
Sorry Pathfinder, I missed your ?. Yep, a 4.5 year old probably.
Thanks bow4elk
