Heres a few pictures of my Dad and a buddie of mine who have late tags. Shot this buck on our place wednesday morning. 22" wide

I cant believe he didnt cape that and get it mounted. Thats one hell of a buck.

Ive killed upwards of 100 WT and Ive never killed one that big... great buck...Id hate to see what that boy thinks is worthy of a wall hanger :dunno:

Thats what I was thinking ill have to find out why he isnt getting it mounted. Thats his first buck, what a way to start.

Nice buck.
I bet Michelle and Bucklucky go crazy seeing all these big bucks (and bulls) that have the capes cut.

Great whitetail. Not everybody wants a deer head on the wall.

I can tell the neck is huge. Why didn't you sell that cape to a taxidermy or trade for a wood plaque to mount the antlers?

This was my point. I see all the posts from Michelle and other taxidermists stating that they want capes and there are multiple posts of really nice bucks and bulls with the capes cut. I realize not everyone wants a head hanging in their house but the taxi's have a use for another part of the animals that we harvest and it just seems like it would be cool to get as many to them as we can since they are such a big part of the "community" here.
