I have collected calls for as long as I can remeber.  What I do remember is that calls used to be affordable.  I have somehow convinced myself that paying these large sums of money for calls is going to get me a better call.  That is still to be determined.  What I do know is that I have way to much coin invested into the calls hanging on my lanyard.  Has anyone else fallen into the same boat?  6 calls and well over $500 invested.

I buy the calls and shoot the ducks with bands, so those are free.  It sounds like you spent a lot of money to purchase them.   :chuckle:

				 :yeah: x2

yeah, my feedback on ebay is outstanding.  Sometimes you can find guys who don't know what they're doing and buy 5 or more at a time for a cheap price!

I value my bands at around $50 each for insurance purposes.  at last count there were 44 on there.  Have to admit, there is one on there I didn't shoot.  Found a band on a drake mallard along Hwy 12 in burbank about 12 years ago.

Have probably $400 of calls on my manyard,  Foiles is the most expensive,  goose and duck... still like my cheapest one the best.  It is a Duck Commander Ole Raspy...... and the Commander In Chief duck commander ain't too shabby.

Picked up the Bill Saunders Schultz Triple reed duck call.  It is a very good sounding call.

I have 1/2 dozen calls that I regularly use.  We hunt on the Columbia mostly so I carry 2 or three mallard calls, and some pintail/widgeon whistles plus my trusty Big River goose flute.  My favorite mallard calls are a Haydel's and an RNT double reed.  In all my calls I probably have $75-100 tied up.

I got the double mag.  Its make your ears ring loud!!!  Can't practice with it in the car, it's to loud :P  It's my corn field call haha.

I run a ph-2 poly carb, wanna get the acrylic, xr-2, ph-2 double mag, a wood whistle and a plastic whistle on the duck lanyard.

The goose lanyard has a zink clucker poly carb, big river flute, and a saunders I-5 refuge edition.
