Hey guys, I just signed on as a Sponsor here on the WA Site, no I'm not just a flash in the pan here so I could mention our Seminars. I love talking elk, those that know & having been around me will agree with that I'm sure! (grin)
I'm feeling generous here & what better way to show it than by giving away 3 sets of 3-Pack DVDs. They are Instructional Elk Videos. You can read more about them on our Site. www.elknut.com
Here's how we'll do it, on our Homepage there you will see 3 different bulls taken with recurves & a longbow, take a good look at them & tell me what you think they score individually, this will be gross score not net. I've scored all 3 bulls already so I know what they are. You may give one score each per bull on the same post, separate posts are not needed. Just mention what score goes to whom, this should be quick & easy. Who ever is closest to each bull will win a 3-Pack, it will include free shipping of course, no cost to the winners at all !!! My "signature" at the bottom of threads will also take you to my Site!
I also wanted to mention that the broken tine on Claytons bull was reinstalled & it looks great, it's equal to its opposite side, just wanted to let you know! The bull busted it off in his death run, he ran smack into a tree!
I hope many here will feel comfortable about taking part! Thanks!

Great guesses there, many are close as you can get!
There will be one winner per name, in other words not one guy can win 2 or 3, this gives everyone a chance! The first correct or closes to correct score will be winner for 1st & 2nd & 3rd places.
Thanks & yes those elk were taken with trad gear, 2 shots were 13 yds & Claytons bull was a skosh over 30yds. This was on public land OTC hunts here in ID, it's a 7% success rate for bulls in our unit, all bulls were called in including the others on our Site. Calling elk on high pressure areas is totally possible as you can see here. Thanks!
If I can think of anything else all need to know I'll post it! Good Luck!

OK Guys, I will end the guessing this evening, Tuesday Jan. 8th. Some have danged near hit the scores on the button!!! (grin) There's many here that have a good eye for sure. I will admit it's tough to give scores via photos only, they can be deceiving at times but all did great!!
I will post a New Thread as to the Winners so look for that. Thanks!!

ELknut:
Are these officially scored? Just curious. I would be interested if they aren't what they officially scored net and gross. No biggy if you didn't have them scored.
Good fun. Thanks,

Map, no I didn't have any of the bulls officially scored. We did them ourselves & have done so for years! I've scored hundreds of bull in this time frame. I only go by gross though as rarely are we concerned with total scores after deductions. I know several official scores & have picked their brains over the years so am good enough to be dangerous!! (grin) These bulls are scored pretty darned close for sure! Thanks!
