Post by: remington300mag on November 17, 2009, 10:44:54 PM: 7Ultra.....Just to let you know...with the lack of a heavy snow...the deer are spread throughout the unit right now....you can find them just about everywhere! From Mica peak in the Blewett...through #2 canyon......Lot's of deer out there...shouldn't be a problem tagging out on a dandy!! We have been out looking all week and have seen some monsters! Even though the only 200" buck in the unit got shot last week!! ;) If you are having troubles....drop me a PM...I should be able to point you into the right direction!

I do live over here by the mission unit and do a lot of post season scouting. We have been seeing a lot of nice bucks.....and a couple real hogs! Like I said, shouldn't be too hard to get a nice buck....but a 180 will take some work! Oh, and some luck!

Post by: bornforhorns on November 17, 2009, 11:18:15 PM: Lived in that area for awhile...there are some great deer around this time of year. Hunt high and low and you will find a good buck. Again, like lowedog says...stay away from the private.
