Title: Bridgeport Bar
Post by: uplandhunter870 on November 21, 2009, 11:16:37 AM
Going to be up in that area over the thanksgiving weeked and was thinking about chasing some pheasants.  just curious if anyone has hunted the bar or the foster creek area and has had any luck. i havent hunted that area in years, since before they made it non-toxic only area, it used to be a decent patch of ground.

thanks for any info in advance,
steve

I have not hunted this year yet, though the last few years we have not seen any pheasants. Usually get some good quail numbers in the bar area, and got a few chukars  and quite a few quail up foster creek. Good luck and let me know how it went if you don't mind ;)

Pretty pathetic for roosters anymore.  As for chuckars, the season should never open there, due to the low low population. :twocents:
