what the funnest gun you own? and why? mine i would have to say is a walther p22, because its dirt cheap to shoot for plinking, and i can also shoot grouse with it. which ive shot 7 with it. id like to get the longer barrel for it so its a little more accurate. anyway, im looking for some thing else that alot of fun to shoot.
-
i would have to say my R-15. its just a blast to shoot and wicked accurate. the fact that its the one i get to hunt with the most bieng mt coyote gun gives it a leg up on the fun department over the others i have
-
My Savage 22lr over .20 gauge. Because I said so.
-
muzzy for now
-
My slightly customized Ruger SS MKII Government Target pistols, Because at Bullseye tonight, I shot another Master score with one of them. I have other guns that I like a whole lot.. Just as much even, in my safe though.

Ruger 44 mag semi-auto carbine rifle. Red Dot scope. Steel Butt plate.
It's small, compact and lays out one hell of a wallup. It will put a pile of lead anywhere the Red Dot lands within 100 yards.
I built it for close quarter Hog Hunting in Texas. I Call It "HOG WILD"
-
The one in my hand...
I would have to say for "fun" factor my marlin .22 with leopold scope is the gun i have the most fun with every spring thinning out the ground squirrels.
-
Savage .17 HMR
bolt action
Simmons 3-9x32 scope.
awesome varmit gun and plinker.
-
i have a lot of fun guns but i wouls say my beretta cx4 storm in 40 sw red dot sight really fun gun to shoot i love it.
-
I think my Marlin 45-70 Cowboy is my favorite. I hand load it and it's hot but I just like to shoot it. It will vaporize a 1 gallon jug at 100 yards. It's just fun a feels good when I toss it up. I am thinking about starting a lever gun collection someday.

-
Savage 93 .17hmr was a lot of fun last week on prairedogs. The scope is dialed in and I had them doing backflips out past 300 yards.
Of course the potato gun is one of the kids favorites
-
MY AR 15 or my Savage .223 ...hard to say...
I love the semi auto of the AR...
but that Savage...I think I would marry it, but it wont have me. :'( :chuckle:
-
Gosh.. This is really tough.. Love my SS Kimber 1911.. And the Colt Diamond Back.. And my SBH. And my SSRH. And Mr. Lucky, a Marlin lever gun that's got 8 notches in the sling for deer kills.
All of my guns are FUN!
-Steve
-
I like my 17 HMR. cheap and you can shoot all day long. My AR15s are fun but get expensive fast if you shoot a lot.
-
I no longer own them but I had an H&K 94 and 91 that were a lot of fun. The "funnest" had to be the semi auto German MP-40 that I had in high school.
-
so many to choose from.......
I like my 257 weatherby mag for deer and antelope.
I like my TC 50 cal.
and I really like my 300 win mag.
so it all depends on what I'm hunting
But the one I like the most and is an absolute blast to shoot in my TC 50 cal. :hunt2:
-
I have an old Hopkins and Allen 12 ga. double side by side with hammers and a 20" barrel. I've had it for about 25 years and it's fun as hell to shoot. When I bought it I didn't know crap about the Hopkins and Allen Arms Company. Found out they were bought out by Marlin in 1917. I think the manufacture date of the shotgun is 1911. Great cond. and I think I paid 210.00 for it. Love that gun.....true scatter gun.
-
I like my Savage FVT (target model with peeps) 22lr that is in perpetual upgrade mode and my 10/22 converted to 17HM2 with a red dot. Both are stupid accurate and both are equally fun for totally different reasons. Like owning a 4WD off roader and an oval track car.
-
either my model 94 or my Nova. the 3.5 inch shells in the nova rock my front foot off the ground.
-
M-1 Carbine, lots of fun, relatively cheap to shoot, pretty accurate, and a gift from my wife's grandmother. Wish I could go shoot it more or hunt something with it.
-
i love all my guns equally.
I like my .22's for more fun and a better challenge on long shots when i go camping, but its hard to beat the fun of shooting an old war relic and hitting a milk jug 500 yards away with 50+ year old ammo.
-
ruger 1022 with aimpiont reddot and swr silencer. All you can hear is the bolt and the bullets impact.
-
I no longer own them but I had an H&K 94 and 91 that were a lot of fun. The "funnest" had to be the semi auto German MP-40 that I had in high school.
man why would you get rid of those :yike: i love those things
-
Would be either my R15 or M&P15-22 the M&Pis just fun to shoot and is real accuate to top it off.

This is a hard question to answer. My 300 RUM is alot of fun to shoot rocks at long distance with. Plinking with a 10-22 is cheap and fun. 50gr V-max's at 3900FPS out of my 22-250 makes for some red mist when shooting small critters. I'm going to have to vote for a CF .22 ,shooting ground squirls. its so much fun that it feels like it should be against the law.

man why would you get rid of those :yike: i love those things
Just before the ban years ago I sold them for five times what I payed for them and bought a bunch of other guns.
-
Pistol - FNP .45
Rifle- 22.250
All around hunting rifle- 30.06
-
That's probably going to be the Ruger MKIII Hunter. It just shoots so well that I don't want to put it down. Second in line is the 45-70 BFR with 440gr LBTs at 1600fps. That's really only fun for about 5 shots though. :chuckle:

Spent a lot of time with my Baretta BM 59 when I was a teenager. Lots of fun shooting and reloading. Wish I still had it too. It was one of only 200 in the states.
22LR is lots of fun. 22WMR is even more fun. Probably get even more fun from a bow and arrow. Less noise and more rewarding at times.
-
It's pretty cool how one gun will just fit a person and not another. My fave would have to be my M1 Garand and my Springfield M1-A, there's just a feeling to them, the're solid ya know and there's history to them. But there are so many guns that each time you shoot your like, hey that's why I bought that.

H7R 20 ga, I have had it now for almost 30 years, it was my first gun, and will be passed down to my baby girl when she is ready, have not shot it in almost 20 years so will have it all gone through before it is handed down..
-
270 Allen Mag. Shoots .5 moa all day long.....gallon jugs of water at 1130 yards, now that's fun, I don't care who ya are!
-
I'd have to say my Bushy AR-15. Now i want the R-15. As for a pistol it's a toss up between the Kimber Stainless .45 and my Ruger Blackhawk .357. Starting to really like the wheel gun.
-
My DPMS ARs. Especially, my Lo Pro heavy-barreled varminter w/Timney trigger... never a hicup and 1-hole groups all day.
-
my new Kel Tec RFB .308 bullpup design, compact, 20 rd clip, it ROCKS
-
ruger 77/17 or t/c hawkin .50 or ruger mkII target or......
-
Of course the potato gun is one of the kids favorites
saw the new mini-marshmallow gun advertised & will pick one up on black friday.
Winchester model 70 customized for me, just fits so well, shoots great.......like many others though. which ever gun I have in my hand at the moment
-
My kids have the mini marshmallow guns, they are fun until you start finding marshmallows in every nook and cranny of every piece of furniture.
-
My mini-14 ranch rifle. That rifle was flat out the funnest to shoot.
Gonna get another soon, and send it off for accurizing.
-
i really like my little .22 mag. cheap to shoot.
--BH2BT
-
It's a toss up between my Rem Sendero in .220 Swift and my Ruger MKII Hunter. Both are a blast to shoot.
-
I love every gun and everyone is fun to shoot, but if I had to pick it would be the Colt AR-15. :)
-
I do have to agree with everyone on the AR-15s. I had one for a while and they are definitely fun. That is until you have to reload the magazines. :'( 15 seconds to empty a 30rd magazine, 15 minutes to load. :chuckle:
-
My Lyman GPR in .54cal is a blast..but right now it's a toss up between my Savage in .17hmr and my Mossberg 500 in the mariner finish. I shoot the .17hmr a lot more because it's pretty cheap. I also have several .22's that I enjoy; Buckmark, and a 77/22.
Ok only one? then the .17HMR
-
heres my :twocents:
for fun factor, its a toss up between the tactical shotgun(berretta 1201fp),otherwise known as the swiss cheese machine, and the AR(bushmaster XM15). :mgun:
to make things blow up or die, the desert eagle 44 or my 300 win mag. :hunter:
but I think its fun to shoot them all. :)
-
My Nerf Vulcan 8)
-
Savage 24V-A, .222rem. over 20ga.
I had to look all over for that gun but man I love it.
-
Savage 24V-A, .222rem. over 20ga.
I had to look all over for that gun but man I love it.
Oh yeah....second vote for a savage rifle over shotgun....
coriantonk, I am dying to get my hands on a .22mag over .410.....
-
i vote for the over rifle over shotgun too, pretty fun! i guy at work has a .223 over 410, with a scope for yotes...
but for guns that i do actually own, i vote my savage .17HMR.... its a blast
-
I like my .454 casull lever action
-
Another vote for the Savage 24 O/U.
-
I recently received a model 1873 winchester lever action in 38/40 caliber (first winchester center fire rifle made) in excellent condition. Got it from my grandpa. I had to shoot it at least once and it is cool. To bad its so old just something i dont want to shoot around with. Makes me want to get a newer lever action to shoot like a 300 savage!
-
I would have to say that my stevens 22-250 has got to be the funnest gun I have ever owned. Next up would be my good old 300 win mag savage. Both put a hole just where I want.
-
coriantonk & Ice man Great choices i own a 22lrand 20ga... saw a .223 12ga in a pawn shop when i didn't have any $$$$ now that i love killing Coyotes I will forever kick my self... I looked on the savage web sight and couln't findem???? do they not make em anymore? :dunno:
-
I love shooting my 7 08
but my youth model .410 is a blast to shoot :chuckle: :chuckle:
-
Ruger 10/22 or Ruger Mark III Target model. Right behind those two is my Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt but the 22 ammo is so much cheaper.
-
Oh yeah....second vote for a savage rifle over shotgun....
Make that three. .22 over 20ga. shot my first duck with it! A redhead hen. The only down side is the weight.
I dont know if it is a savage though, it is an old gun that was given to me a long time ago.
-
stevens once made them now owned by savage
-
Most fun O/U Beretta 12 ga
Least fun .375 Ultra mag
-
Long gun; M1 Garand
it has the feel, the accuracy, the history and can lay down some heavy lead.
Handgun; Walther PPK
With reloads and home cast bullets i can blast away all day for pennies per shot, well built and accurate.
-
military: 1919a4 in 30-06 200rd belt

-
My new Ruger SR-556

Both my Ruger SuperBlackhawk 44mags. Fun guns to shoot.
