Read the turkey hunting regulations to start, then scout out areas and look for turkeys.  Read past topics on this forum.  Good Luck.  If you learn one thing...put your time in, scout and learn the area and where public property is  and isn't.  Welcome to the site.

Thank you. I am planning on heading to eastern WA to do a little scouting/camping trip in a month or two.

Look at the harvest reports. They don't lie. Most of the birds are in the northeast corner, bottom line. That will be your best bet to be in contact with the most birds. Don't take everything on this site as gold, but you can learn some stuff here too.

Get involved with your local NWTF chapter it worked for me. Met some great guys I hunt with each spring. We do not all fill all our tags but we sure have a good time trying  :chuckle:. Otherwise head east. Once there choose north or south and be safe and shoot straight. :hello:

Be carefull when looking for birds in the northern Spokane county, southern Stevens county.

I can go for a 1 hour drive from my house and back and probably see 1,000 turkeys and not find one land owner that will let you hunt on there place.

You will have to do a lot of door knocking.  I have lost 7 hunting spots in the last 4 years to to older land owners passing away. and land being split up and houses built.
