mad-bomber, don't let the satire and "we always get our limit" crowd get to you. I live in the N. Palouse and after two consecutive Winters of over 100"+ of snow a limit of roosters, "ain't that easy".  Yes, some good pockets of pheasants and quail are surprisingly present, but late season roosters are seldom easy.

The SE WA area escaped the snow pile up and I'd suggest going further South. BTW, nice pup; keep after them.

i have shot birds everytime i have been out.but i am seeing nothing close to what is normal for my spots. i was kind of hinting at the fact that the snow has something to do with it.

This is the hardest I have ever had to work for my birds. I have also scene fewer birds this year than ever before. I agree with the other posts, there are pockets of birds here and there but not anything like it should be.
