Hi guys,,looking to add something to the Christmas list...in your opinion who makes the best bow string ???
I shoot a bowtech admiral...
THANKS!
-
I've had great luck with Winners choice strings on both of my Bowtechs. First was a Patriot, now shooting a Guardian.

:yeah:

Winners Choice are great strings. I switched to Vaportrail strings 2 years ago the only difference I have found is they are half the price.
-
Dakota strings :twocents:
-
Winners Choice makes great strings and so does XXX Archery.
-
I have heard good thing about G-string in here. I also had good experience with this bucknasty string, but the price went up.

Well We do...lol there are a lot of good string makers out now days. We can do gift cards for you, and then you can come down and you can pick the colors you want. and we put them on and tune your bow tie in your peep and drop away rest. we use the same BCY 452X
-
There is nothing better then looking at a nice set up with G-strings on it ;)
-
XXX Archery G-strings get my vote as the best strings! Give them a try they are a bowtech dealer and put a lot of strings on them.
-
I'm on my 5Th bowtech. I would consider ordering a new string form bowtech. If you use an after market string and it breaks the damage that it causes (bent cam, broken limb, bent axle) is not covered under warranty. They seem to make a good string.

That is not true
I have never had Bowtech ask what strings are on the bow.
bowtech makes great string they use the same as us BCY 452X
-
I can't speak for other string brands because I have never tried them, but I am very happy with "winners choice" strings.
-
It is true, go to their website look on frequently asked question #11 about aftermarket strings it spells it out.
-
what a bunch of BS!!
Q: Can I use aftermarket string and cable sets on my BowTech bow?
A: Many aftermarket string and cable(s) sets are only “close” on the lengths and diameters. This can drastically slow down, affect the performance, and significantly reduce the ease of tuning your bow. Use of aftermarket string and cable sets, and failure of that product resulting in further damage, will void the lifetime warranty of your bow.
-
Like I said I HAVE NEVER had bowtech ask whos strings are on the bow. they know we put are strings on most of the bowtechs I sell.
-
Sounds like you better not tell them what you are using, its pretty black and white. Look on you tube there was a guy sniveling about his warranty denial.
-
once I kill a Deer or Archery season ends I'll be up to get G-strings put on my Allegiance, Cory do you have any Destroyers in stock?

He just told you this..."they know we put our strings on most of the bowtechs I sell".
-
yes I do have the Destroyer 350 in ...nice bow
bowtech knows I put G-Strings on most bowtech...I dont care and they dont either. :dunno:

No need to get all red, I'm just sharing what I have learned over a few years of shooting them. They can if they choose and they have denied in the past. Bowtech has a great warranty and outstanding customer service.
-
I just sent back one of my bows to bowtech to get the invelvet redone because I got some cleaner on it. They covered it under warranty and it had G-Strings on it when it went in and came back!

red was the color I clicked, no reason behind it other than highlighting it.
