Peeps are the way to go, increases your accuracy by a lot.  That is why competition smallbore uses peeps.

I use three different apertures, take out the bell for low light (legal) times, use a small peep for target and a medium for hunting.

Peeps allow you to see a bigger sight picture while lining up.  Be sure to put a fiber optic front site on there.

Good luck.

Turkey Slayer..............This is the one I put on my Bighorn....camo/stainless.  Put the same sight on my Wolverine camo/ blued...only blued in color on that sight.  Google egunparts......much cheaper....$35.03, instead of $65-$80.  The blued one is the same price.  A whole lot cheaper than anywhere else.

To say that I like my Williams peep is an understatement. When I started muzzeloading I enjoyed it but when I put the peep on I loved it. I have taken deer and elk every year since I installed the peep. This past year i whacked a coyote at 95yds and never felt like i couldn't hit it.

It's by far the best hunting accessory I've ever bought.

I really like my Williams WGRS peeps, I just put on one of the Firesite Ghost rings on one of my .504's. Have not shot it yet but shouldering it looks good.
Cant go wrong IMO.

My boyfriend, mother and I use Williams Fire fire sight fiber optics and have had great success. 2 elk down this past hunting season with them. My father prefers the Williams peep sight and has had equal success if you are not interested in fiber optic sights. His 6 pt. bull previously harvested on the east side and the cow elk he harvested on the west side this last year both make the statement that it is also an effective tool.

Thanks for the link on the sight! Just got one in the mail.  Looking into ordering the smaller peep but I'm not sure which type of threads this sight has.  They have two different options with the standard and the long shank threads...anyone have any ideas?

Just picked up a Lyman 57 with target knobs and an adjustable aperture came with it. You can adjust the hole size from .025 to .110 in.010 increments. I really like this one 8)

When all else fails, take your sight bell into Ace or somewhere and try it til it fits into something.  Be careful so you don't cross thread it.
