Title: High winds.
Post by: Gutpile on December 06, 2009, 08:21:02 AM
Wouldn't you know it. We get an arctic blast with perfect temps for coyote hunting and it's going to be windy! They say it's going to blow through thursday!!! :bash: I bet it's going to be good when the wind slows though. Especially if it does snow. WooHoo!!!

Tell me about it, I was going to go out and see if I could get a goose today.  Now I'm just sitting with a cup of coffee looking out the window to try to see some geese.  I doubt they are even flying in this wind!

The wind douth blow in the Wenas.  I thought I was going to join Dorothy or meet Oz himself last night.  Colder than hell out there.

The wind woke me up several times in the night. Looked outside this morning and there is a shingle in the middle of the lawn.  :bash:

the one good thing about the wind, all the junk my pup has dragged onto the deck and lawn has now blown clear across my field and over to the neighbors.   :chuckle:

Also lost a couple of shingles. One happened to find my brand new dodge 2500 and slid across my windshield leaving nice little scratch marks from one side to the other. :'(

Looked windy so I had to go out and feel it and -yup, it's windy and cold. To bad I don't have a  :fire.: in the house. It would be a good day for one.

Cold and clear for the next four days.  I am wondering how cold it is going to get in Puyallup and my commute to Bellevue.

Wonder if the forcast changed. They talked about high winds through thursday. Sure hope not. Don't mind the cold but wind can stay over on the west side or where ever Big10 hunts so I can catch up.

Hell of a windchill right at the moment.  Pushing single digits and howling. NOT a good combination.

I just hope it doesn't blow like last year for our contest.  That was miserable.

I told my partner to count me out if it's like that again. That made for a long miserable day. Then to miss a 40 yard shot at the end of the day really pissed me off to boot.  :bash:

Hey, I'm having a hard enough time trying to call any in without you wishing that on me. :chuckle: :chuckle:
