Sold an Umarex / Colt M4 OPS in .22lr that I bought for the wife (big mistake) and used the proceeds to get a little H&R .410 and a Ruger Mk. III Competition pistol. I haven't picked up the pistol yet but I have taken that little .410 out to hunt rabbits a couple of times and I can honestly say that that little shotgun that cost $109.89 at Bi-Mart may just be the coolest, most fun gun I own. I really love that gun.
Anyone else find immense joy from the least glamorous of guns?

I have an old h&r .410 that was made when they still made tehm on there own frame size and it is also a fun little gun and a grouse killin sob!

I have a chipmunk .22 mag with a peep site that is fun to shoot. It has nice wood stock and I polished up the bolt. Accurate too. Any revolver normally is fun to shoot also.

I have a half dozen NEFs/H&Rs in various calibers/gauges... simple, rugged and pretty darn accurate. I've taken quite a few jackrabbits with my old NEF 12 gauge... even broke 24/25 clays with it.

I agree about the pardner .410. I bought one years ago for grouse and it's one of the funnest guns I own.
