Title: washougal, jones creek, silver star,3 corner rock. bear info?

Post by: Kain on December 16, 2009, 10:43:26 AM: I hunted the Washougal unit really hard this year and didnt see any bear. After looking at the harvest numbers for last year I know why. There was a ton of bears taken out of this unit last year.

You can find great areas along the Dole Valley rd. You can get up in the Gifford Pinchot NF lands, but they become much more rugged, but, when the snow line starts dropping, look for the deer and elk to follow the line.

Post by: longstevo on December 22, 2009, 12:07:15 PM: A buddy of mine saw a flash of a bear just south of Three Corner last fall. I hunted it one evening and saw some bear sign, but that was the only time I checked into it.

I know this isn't much, but its all I got. I'm sure they're in there. Just have to find them.
