Title: Roosevelt bull out the door (Charlies Taxidermy)
Post by: bucklucky on December 18, 2009, 10:42:34 AM: Well, it has been a buisey year this year and I havent had much of a chance to take time to post any pitures. Its back to mounting and finishing, the past 2 and a half months all I been doing was capping , flershing , and salting. Now I get to play catch up on about 8 mounts left over from last year :bash: Anyway, here is a nice little muzzleloader kill Roosevelt bull a client of mine killed. 2 months prior he had a stroke and decided he better get one mounted. If I remember right he has killed 26 elk and 16 are bulls, this one not being his biggest. Enjoy the pics. I even put up some close ups so you can see the detail work and cleanliness of my mounts.

Bone, Im still waiting to get better so I can mount my bull ;) Thats a heck of a compliment but Ive seen better !

Thanks Kudu ;) I went to 1 competition 2 years ago in Boise . I took a blacktail mount and took a second in the profesional division. I really didnt know what to expect. I was planning on going to a few this past year just didnt get a chance to get any competition mounts done, I was real buisy taking care of my 1 year old and building my new shop all summer. Id like to get to some more just for the seminars and all the helpful criticism you get from the judges. Ive used that criticism in my mounts I do know.
