NICE......It looks like its getting green up there. Its going to make it harder to see those moose bones laying around.
-
Sweet!
I shot one last evening. I was sitting in the hot tub when a small male ran across our east pasture. I ran into the house, got my .250, called it back, put him down and got back in the hot tub.
-
I see coyote all the time when pheasant hunting. I believe I'll start carrying my .223 during the late half of the season as then they should have a good pelt.
I like furs and they sure fluff out in the late fall and winter.
-
I got 26 this year, my best year ever. Here's a truckload of dogsickles going to the fur buyer.
-
Dang, that looks like my backyard.
-
We must be neighbors, cause i took the picture and most of the yotes right near the house :)
-
If thats true, then shoot a few more would ya, I'm running out of bullets, and am tired of being woke up every night. I've even had the thought of installing red spots on my property to flip a switch and start blazing. 8)
Did you get anything for the pelts?
-
I was able to sell over half of them. Most brought around $20, so they're worth shooting at. I took my "winnings" and bought a new pentax scope to top my .204. the rest went to the general fund!
On my way to Erie this week, Smallies on Thursday and Walleyes on Friday 8)there's also a wedding in there somewhere
-
As long as its not your own, and even that might be debatable, you can skip the wedding if there is fishing or hunting to be done.
-
YTC is a GREAT place to shoot dogs just drive around the roads and catch em eating bunny road kill very very easy...........
-
is that also a catsicle in there?
-
LOL, I was thinking....that is one ugggly coyote, LOL
-
yeah- a cat on top.
-
My wife just called and said we lost a cow :( if i'm going to lose a $1000 animal, i should at least get the chance to shoot yotes off it. She looked at her with the spotting scope and said they we ALL over it. Better dust off the 22-250 and try to resurrect my season! >:(
-
Please let me know if you need any help. Would be more than willing to assist.
-
Thanks for the offer! Two down...we'll see how many we can get rid of.
-
I got most of mine this winter off of cow carcasses, as many as 4 per day! I think that the most that I have taken off of a single cow was 12-13. It is a ton of fun if you can see the cow from the house and shoot them from the porch!
-
I can't see her...luckily- she is getting ripe. I skipped out last night and ended up awake several times with coyotes howling close to the house. One sounded like it was in the living room :bash:
My wife saw two yesterday while she was moving irrigation, she'll be packing some heat today!
