Thanks Rob for putting them up. glad you are enjoying them guys!! It was a hard long hunt, and again we went to the last day. Lots of work to get this guy and to get him back out. Passed on several nice quality bucks but dad wanted something with mass and real tall with some character and he got what he ordered up. Thanks again guys!!

It does look as though the guys on the site did better than last season. :brew:
Maybe there is some validity to Scotts assessment....(https://hunting-washington.com/cpg/albums/userpics/10123/icon_smilie_BSmeter.gif)

Great Buck!

You guys didn't know that Garrett only hunts the Methow. :chuckle:
-
bone i didnt want to say anything about the methow, but i figure with so many big bucks running around chasing all the wolves away it would be ok...... ;)
-
Nice deer!
-
Wolves in the Methow, tribal guys in the Swak and surrounding area, whats the difference. :(
Glad to finallt see your Dad's deer. Awesome!
-

What we need are Tribal guys in the Methow chasing wolves.
-
Yak Ind asked me about that, and I didn't know the regs in regards to where they stand with the feds. I wouldn't mind having the nickname wolf whisperer as well. ;)

Oooohhh... good point....
I am pretty sure that is a "traditionally hunted animal" for this region. Far more "traditional" than elk on this side of the state... ???
-

Since when have the tribes cared where they stand with the feds on fishing or hunting issues? If wolves had a little more personal "trophy" status maybe they'd be hunting them. :twocents:
-
Not to thread jack or take away from a thread about his deer, but some Indian hunters are law abiding and very much do care about the health of our deer herd. Typical of any population in almost any aspect, there are a few that are selfish and have no concern.
-
Way to go Garrett, tell your dad congrats! Glad to see you around the site a little more these days, you guys sure no how to draw tags!
