Title: Filter help

 I'm looking for some advice on filters, I seem to get some good photos some bad, any advice would be helpful

I'd put a polarized filter on there and leave it for pretty much everything except for any trick stuff you want to do.
 you're still gonna get some good and some bad though.

 I wouldn't worry about filters, although I do use a polarizer on occasion for water glare but for your bigger lenses just get used to adjusting your ISO, exposure and f-stop correctly and you won't need them. WB and tone can be adjusted in post processing.
