That should be a plug and play port Rasbo.  You should be able to take the cover off, and replace it.

Bash it with your club. You will feel better then.

If the club doesn't work, lay the tower on it's back and pour warm salt water in all openings....

Check on the back of your tower, you may have some additional USB ports there that you can plug your camera into.

You need to reboot it.  Be sure you wear safety boots so you don't break your toes.

Rasbo, as was stated above, look for additional USB ports.  You should have several, maybe even a couple on the front side.

Watch who you're callin a 'Geek'.  I might resemble that remark.

I have a flat rate for this sort of thing. $200/hr. Minimum 2 hour job plus travel expenses.

That's a good rate for neanderthals!  :chuckle:

Computers don't make mistakes. I always blame the operator anyway. No extra charge.

99% of the time it is the "interface" between the chair and the keyboard

If it is an integrated card reader you should be able to unplug it inside and plug a new one in.  You will have to suck it up and take the cover off.  Not a bad idea once in a while anyways to blow all the dust out of it.   :twocents:
