In 2005, while chasing a 4x4 muley my partners decided to try a "new call", one of them pulled from their pack a "survival" whistle and began blowing on it. Soon a muley with a decent "ear spread" made an appearance from behind a tree. After contemplating my dilemma...., I pulled back and let fly. The result, a deer with a 22" ear spread tip-to-tip and two hunting partners for life.

Very nice, it is great to get the kids involved in hunting! Way to go!

LOL, bet that whistle is not in that pack next year!!!!!! :chuckle:
Love the expression on the little girls face, it is priceless.
Congrats on 2 lifetime hunting partners. They seem to be enjoying themselves.
That doe probably ate better than that 4x4 anyway.

I remember when PathfinderJr thought that putting cammo on your face was the coolest part of hunting... :chuckle: That is a priceless pic. Needs to be enlarged, framed, and hung in the trophy room...

Just plain addorable! It reminds me of the photo we have of all 4 of our girls posing with my husbands bear which was a whole family affair to take. One was holding the mouth so the teeth would show.
