Hopefully it will free up some habit funding $$$. There are a ton of W. Wa. streams that would benefit from more barrier removal, restructuring and greenbelt protection. Should be a positive thing, though like you say, hopefully not too late.

In essence yes, though I read recently they will be removing a few sea lions from the Columbia mouth. Seal in Puget Sound are actually becoming more worrisome to me, since I was a kid their numbers have exploded. Now it is common to hear of, or see them stealing sport caught salmon, it didn't used to be that way 20 years ago.
