No kidding!! LOL!! Thought I'd get the plug and nipple today too but didn't. Got caps, powder, and bullets. Now just need the nipple and breech plug and I'm in business. I'm as happy as a little girl. :chuckle:

Not sure if this thing is purdy enough for a pic but what the heck.

Post by: Gutpile on January 04, 2010, 01:07:00 PM: I'm no authority on Muzzy's but I've been looking for a while. this "feels" like a gun. I'm actually very happy. Some of the other models I looked at just felt cheesy. I almost pulled the trigger on an extended range T/C Black diamond but it was the Long Range model with the long barrel and felt to front heavy. Also i wasn't sure how much I'd like Muzzleloader hunting and didn't want to drop $300.00+ for one and end up not liking it. This was $150.00 shipped.

A big thanks to Wacenturion. You we're a big help I really do appreciate all of your time and patience with my endless questions about spays and whatnot. :chuckle:

Ya clean it in the kitchen only if you shoot Real Black Powder and make sure the wife is there. (assuming yer married that is)

I clean all 14 of my Muzzle loaders in the Kitchen too 8)

Post by: Gutpile on January 04, 2010, 08:19:56 PM: Triple se7en loose powder. Not sure about bullets yet. I'm going to try some Hornady XTP's 300 grn and 290 grn Barnes. Still want to try the 300 grn SST's but havent found any. I need to order some. BH2BT bought some jacketed powerbelts but can't remember the weight.

So MH, when are we going to have a BP shootout?

It came from Cabelas and they apperantly don't take returns. I guess I can find a book on how to load the damn thing and try it someday.
