Post by: bolsen on January 13, 2010, 02:16:10 PM: dont know the outfitter but we hunt in craig every year which is about an hour north. huge elk numbers around there im just not sure if theres the true trophy caliber bulls running around. if i was elk hunting down there id expect to get a decent 3 point. dont see to many of the magnum 4 points around there, but who knows maybe hes got a honey hole.

This is a fact, I've hunted this area a bit and the good bulls are on the private land. If your hunting on the public portions expect 4-5 point raghorns.
