title pretty much says it, seeing the sheds start to hit the web site but it seems kinda early to me :dunno: maybe I'm just losing track of time. havent seen a buck for a week or so, ill try to get a look at one this weekend
-
I was thinking it's gotta be pretty soon, saw several bucks Saturday still wearing their sets. Called 22 deer in Sunday while coyote hunting, 3 bucks in the bunch still had antlers, didn't see any that had dropped yet.
-
Saw a forky blacktail tonight near my house...there's only one way I'd know he was a fork...still packin'
-
Wife found a bloody 5 inch spike from a local buck laying in our driveway last Saturday. Seems a bit early to drop
-
All the bucks around here are still packin except one nasty lookin 3 point that dropped a month ago . He s in pretty bad shape

I heard the memo would oficialy go out next week, but some were reading over the shoulder when he was typing it up so they decided to drop early and go have a beer.
So there you have it the oficial word on the subject.
(sorry, couldn't help being a smartass)
-
they have been shedding since dec 28th know of three guys that already have some nice fresh whitetail
-
Nope, all the bucks that i have seen in stevens county are still packing.
-
Saw a forky today. He was still packing.
-
And I thought this thread had something to do with those tasty milk duds I was finding all over.

Oh I see what you did there. :)

saw a two point blacktail still packing last week and a three point two days ago with only half his headgear...
-
My calandar says that we have two more days until official drop day. But I really think it all depends on the moon phase, barometric pressure, wind, temperature, food source, and shed boxes. :chuckle:
All kiding aside. Not sure what you mean by official but a few always start dropping about now, here in central Wa majority really start around end of Febrary. I still keep my distance, even though the flat and bucks dont have a winter and stress is no a factor, it is nice to keep tabs on them and not run them out of an area. :twocents:

i saw a buck today with 1 horn so i am thinking they have started in this neck of the woods

Yep, people should get out there and start pushing them.......they need it, and also they need to be driven further back before they shed. :chuckle:
-

yes I am very much kidding I would love to shoot the sob's that do that.
-
I love it when someone makes an obviously sarcastic statement, and someone on here has to ask if they are kidding. Someone would have to be PRETTY *censored* to come on here bragging about running deer around with their quad to make them drop horns.

where bouts up there?

Yesterday, I seen a Dandy 2 point with only one horn! I got quite a few pics but everyone was blurry and really far away. :bash: I'm gonna head back up to that same spot with my dad's nice camera (which is a far better one than mine) and try to get some decent pics if he's still in the area. There was also a small buck with him that you could see both of his horn pedestals but no horns. Im assuming he was a spike last year considering how small a deer he was.
-
We saw a nice 4x4 today out in the sagebrush still wearing both sides.
-
Saw plenty today with full headgear. I even saw two big boys sparring a little bit.
-
A friend of mines dad found both sides of a nice 4pt in the middle of the road up in hancok earlier this month while up there cutting wood.
-
Whitetail i saw were packing yesterday.
-
I found a matched set of Whitey's around the 28th of Dec.

Saw a really nice 2x3 blacktail walking across the road yesterday with a great set of bones still securely attached. He ducked through some low-hanging cedar limbs on the other side of the road and his rack pushed through without falling off. I will be back checking that trail in a couple weeks!
-
The local blacktails in my areas are finally dropping. Look closely. And I found a spike today.
-
Nice size buck... :o
-
sweet the game is on :IBCOOL:
-

On Jan 29 th in northern Spokane county, saw a small group of deer near Elokia lake. One very large bodied white tail deer, was a a buck who had shed. Spot where shed from very visible with binoc's.
-

Saw four mulie bucks last night, north lincoln county. Still packin both sides.

Yesterday, I found the bachelor herd of muleys I was watching a couple of weeks ago but had disappeared on me. A 4x4, a 4x3, and 2 3x3s. All still packin'... I did see a forkhorn muley today that was only packing one side. Gettin' close over here...
-

-
:'(
My backyard fork showed up yesterday with big white flat spots on his head. I guess my antler catcher didn't work.
-
Went out for a couple of hours this morning, but got skunked. Didn't see any deer though, so they may still be packin'...
-
Went out yesterday... my boyfriend called in a pair of coyotes waiting for me to come down a big draw.. spooked them and they ran right up past me. He found one really nice 3 pt., and we saw two large bucks still packing: a 3 point and a 4x.
-
Found two fresh WT sheds yesterday. :)
-
driving from Pullman to the west side saw roughly 120 deer from the high way, only 2 had dropped half. the rest were all bald, i usually see a decent amount of bucks on this drive.
-
hmmmmm...maybe I need to play hookey for an afternoon this week....
-
went up to my usual shed hunting area hoping to find some in a big meadow that i usually find a couple in. had the two kids with me so they weren't being too quiet but we did see a few deer. we found four antlers unfortunately they were still attached to the deer. Maybe in a couple weeks.
-
All the whitetails at our cabin in Winthrop are now bald! Mule deer are staying up on the hills so I have no pictures of them to say yes or no
