So while I'm here in Colorado for some military schooling, I get to visit my grandparents who live an hour away. Well, there is a pro shop in town. So my grandma and I are checking it out. While drooling over some of the new 2010 model, grandma surprises me by saying "Pick a bow". :yike: I was a little reluctant but she insisted. So I asked to shoot the new Mathews Z7. OMG!!! Love at first shot. Even though the shortest draw length they had was an inch to long for me, it was so comfortable to shoot. I almost robin hooded one. I was pulling 60 lbs as easily as I pull 55 on my Reflex. I could even draw 65. It was some work, but doable. So I have one on the way in my correct draw length. They also cut me a deal on some new Easton arrows for $50 for a dozen. They are even going to throw on a rest and sight so I can shoot it while I'm here. Then take them off when I get to leave. How cool is that? Now I have to wait about another week for it to arrive. Another plus is that my wife has been wanting to get into target shooting. She now has a bow, my old one. If I'm doing my math right, I'll be gaining about 30 fps and 18 lbs of KE.

You better give your grandmother a big hug I'm thinking and visit more often.

Definitely. I'm trying to get out there every weekend I'm out here, barring any major homework I need to do.

Bowhunterforever - It IBO's at 332. I think I should get near 260 out of it since I have a short draw length.
