Title: Bison Powder Horn
Post by: rainshadow1 on January 18, 2010, 01:25:47 PM
Here's a powder horn I did for the gift shop at the Olympic Game Farm... the place I'm gathering my e-call sounds.

It's Bison, with a plug made from the same horn, the spout is Sika Deer. Both are Game Farm Products.

The butt cap is Brazilian Rose Wood, and the insert is Red Morrell.

Be sure to check out the Game Farm if you're ever in Sequim! Amazing array of animals from all over the world, not just the Northwest.

(Anybody want a similar horn, let me know. it's 100% functional. This one is a little bit rustic with some grain lines left in, but it's a bad photo... it's much nicer in person. Just a certificate of origin shot, not a studio shot.)

Really neat for sure, what would something like that cost for you to make?  Reason I ask is for a couple horns I have from previous hunts.

Probably about $80
