Looks like I am going to proceed toward a new bow as soon as I recover from knee surgery out here.
So here's the question:
I tried the Reezen and Alphamax briefly a while back, and liked both a lot; but haven't tried the Maxxis or new Destroyer. I know some of you are familiar with all 4 bows and would like to know of your comparisions. I don't really want to go below a 32" bow (Maxxis 31") but will if it feels great. It looks like the Maxxis 31" is a bit deceiving due to the curve of the limbs and the resulting center-to-center measurement. The weight and compact nature are appealing however.
Anyway if you feel inclined and know the hardware, please let me know your opinions. I'm not a brand radical. Thanks a lot.

they make a maxxis in a 35 axel to axel also Hoyt has a alpha burner that is 34.75 axel to axel and 340 IBO if you want speed bow

Give the z7 a try it is a shorter asa than you want but it holds and shoots like it is a lot longer very smooth and pretty much no hand shock.I went in thinking i was going to buy the reezen then i shot the z7 big difference imo so i ordered the z7

What feels best to you is always the best bet, but I would look very hard into the Bowtech Destroyer. I shot the 340 version today and for a fast bow it draws very easily with ZERO hand shock or recoil. Zero! It was going 280fps with 436gr arrows at 29" draw at 65lbs. When I shot it I barely heard anything but the arrow hitting the target. Very solid and well made.
