Right now we are just working on keeping her quiet, everytime I use a call she starts laughing. Since momma is deployed I got to do what I can. Wish I had some private land, but public will work might actually invest in a blind. I hate being stuck in one spot.
-
Cute!!! Very cool joe. You'll have a hunting partner for a long time. :) :)
-
That is Awsome.........
-
So cool .... now I am envious becomes I remember all those days so well ... enjoy every moment !!!

great pics a blind is great helps hide movement for little ones as well as big ones like me :chuckle:

I remember the first time i took my son out deer hunting. We were hunting Capital Forest and he asked me if he could have some donuts ( i brought a couple boxes of Hostes mini donuts) and i told him to go ahead. Well about a half hour later i asked for some of the donuts that he opened up and he passed an empty bow from the back seast. I said "what the hell happened to all the donut's". he just smiled and said "I ate the, you said i could". :bash:
He was abut 4 or 5 years old then, and all my dad and i could do is laugh :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

That donut thing has happened to me a time or two also. I love the hat, my wife want me to go find one for our little girl.
-
She is adorable :] When I get old enough to have kids thats going to be mine :] I told them my children are leaving the hospital in camoflauge & Im going to need lots of cabelas gift cards ;] they have no problem with that. Get her intrested while shes young
-
I'm now looking forward to taking out all the grandkids ... all 12 of them !!! I bought a blind years ago with a floor in it and have a 5000 BTU heater ... use your coat for a "pillow".

Thanks everyone for the compliments, it was a fun day, we practiced walking through the woods and setting up. Everytime I got her to be quiet a bird would make a sound so she would try and mimick it. So that was funny, then when I would start a sequence with the diaghram she would start laughing. I thought I was a pretty decent caller, but man she is giving me a complex. LMAO....
Well this year like said with momma being deployed it is all about having fun with her. The turkeys will probable be safe this year. I will video tape her first hunt and see what happens....
A Proud daddy

That's is really cool she is adorable. This may seem like a dumb question but I don't have kids so.... When you take the little ones out on a hunt do any of you have them wear ear protection? Seems like it would be important at that age. Maybe your a bowhunter :dunno:
-
how old is your kid? i've got an 18 month old that i think im going to start taking out preety soon

This is my first child so never thought of that, right now at that age, think it would be hard to keep them on her. I am a bowhunter though, but for turkeys like to use the ole shotgun, will think about that.
Satchel----- She is 18 months old also, by the time turkey season rolls around she will be 21 months old, I am just getting her out there right now and showing her how to be quiet in the woods and to have fun..... Joe

She is indeed adorable. I can see why you are a proud papa.
-
Awesome, I have 3 daugters so I know, enjoy
-
That's awesome.... but you're gonna have to get a camo binky. That pink 1 will stick out like a sore thumb.
-
Thanks for the link, and the offer. I am going to be heading down next week end I think.

Helps hide fuzzy pink boots as well.
Watch out with the ATV. My boy, at 3, was visiting his grandparents. Grandma found him in the garage on the ATV with the key turned on and pushing the starter trying to get it going. Luckily he didn't know he needed to pull the clutch in. :chuckle:

Eye protection? You mean ear?? My boy wears ear muffs. It would be nice to get electronic ones so he could hear may tell him to quit squirming around though...
-
Yes that is what I ment. Sorry
-
What a little cutie! Where you get the baby cammo? I have a 9 month old boy, and you got me wanting to get him a set.
