Just got home from the NW Sportsmen show. My son Sean ended up getting 2nd place for biggest BT shot by a youth this year. If the Dad who's kid won it is on here would love to see some pics and the story.. Looks like Sean will be 17th in the Washington Big Game Book. JAMNG

There were some really nice BT this year for sure.. I think the one that beat Seans was 135 somthing Seans was 125 gross. Not to bad for kids..
-
Saweet!! Thats a great buck, youth or not :chuckle: Congrats to him!!
-
what did he win for that dandy BT
-
Congrats....nicely done.
-
That is one heck of a Blacktail.
-
When the bucks were growing their headgear, the weather cleared up and it didn't rain much at all during their growing season. This helped get some large racks on the BT bucks for the '09 season.
Rain washes out a lot of the nutrients and this often causes small racks on big bucks.
Nice buck and congrats!!!!

Rain washes out a lot of the nutrients and this often causes small racks on big bucks.----That is a very interesting theory, wondering if there are any studies to support it. I must admit that living in Utah, I know little about lots of rain or Blacktail deer
Nice buck and congrats!!!!
Nice buck kid, congratulations to both you and your Dad...good job!
