hey guys does anybody know if the walleye are bitting at porcupine bay in the spokane arm? Duck and goose season is over :'( and I need to get out of the house!!!!
-
I think porccupine bay would be closed this time of year. I might be wrong and have not checked the regs. If you need a partner I always launched out of lincoln and I am sure that area is open year round.

Spokane arm closes for walleye april 1st and then open back up june 1st.I'm not sure if the walleyes are biting or not havent heard. :dunno: Last i heard the rainbows are biting good. Good luck

Take this for what its worth, I got it from a friend of a friend. Walleye is doing pretty good around Fort Spokane. Fish the 20-35' flats real slow. The rainbow fishing is hot right now though. If you go let us know how you do.

Ok guys thanks for the info, and I'll keep you posted. I do have a couple friends that have been doing well bank fishing for trout around Fort Spokane but I'm really not into catching trout even though I make a killer pate'. They're using the usual power bait or worms, and marshmellows floating 24 inches of the bottom, and have been pretty consistantly catching 4 or 5 between the 2 of them mabey more. They have also said that it's been a light bite, and that they are just sucking on the bait so good luck! :tung:

I maybe headed in a week. I have friends catching lots of 16" + on a great jig bite the last few weeks. They are up there right now. I was going to call them but it hard to get cell coverage..maybe tonight.
