Title: Any guesses on score?
Post by: Crowns on February 01, 2010, 04:50:31 PM: Just curious on what people will guess for the buck on the right. Always interesting. I have scored him and NW Big game have. I attached one more photo with cape to help. Yeah I know I should iron the sheets before using them as backdrops. :P

Not sure myself phool. I have a buck that taped out at 120 and that set of antlers make mine look puny.

Just a joke and I figured that was obvious by the previous posts- I honestly know absolutly nothing about scoring but in every thread you have one guy questioning size,story ,ect.

I took the buck down to the show sunday, after scoring it once myself. I fronted the 10$. I know how to score and I know I missed the deadline for head and horns, but I just like to have the official sheets. I get my sheet and antlers back to me with a big 148 3/8!! :dunno: Come on guys, you take a mans money, the least you can do is "carry a one". Here is their breakdown.

D.) Spread Credit: 18 7/8
E.) Total Length of Extra Points: 1 4/8 R L D
F.) Length of Main Beam: 21 1/8 22 0/8 7/8
G-1.) 3 2/8 3 0/8 2/8
G-2.) 11 6/8 12 5/8 7/8
G-3.) 8 5/8 8 6/8 1/8
G-4.) 8 5/8 9 7/8 1 2/8
H-1.) 5 0/8 4 6/8 2/8
H-2.) 4 1/8 4 2/8 1/8
H-3.) 3 5/8 3 6/8 1/8

Totals: 62 0/8 :dunno: 73 5/8 4 5/8

18 7/8 + 62 0/8 + 73 5/8 = 154 4/8 Gross - 4 5/8 - 1 1/2 = 148 3/8 Net :dunno:

Now Im no genius but I know damn well the difference between 62 0/8 and 73 5/8 is more than 4 5/8. And there is definately not 11 5/8 difference between the two by just looking at them... haha. But assuming they measured right and added wrong which is the case and I guess who can blame them when they have been doing it for days now, they got:

18 7/8 + 70 0/8 + 73 5/8 = 162 4/8 Gross - 4 5/8 - 1 1/2 = 156 3/8 Net

Here is my green score.

I wish I had picked up that 200" set of sheds. I would just quite shed hunting and be glad to show you. :chuckle: I just got to hold them in my hands for awhile.
