There used to be a bunch around the Sinlahekin, and more up by Palmer.   I've been a little out of touch with them in recent years.  Vulcan MTN up there would sure be a NICE tag to draw.

Nice herd of sheep. You must have gotten that picture from the Chronicle website.

My mom just sent it to me, but probably.  She monitors that stuff all of the time.

A friend that lives in Loomis recently told me the Rams are blocking traffic on a more regular basis.  Nice to know the herd is growing and the town is not. :chuckle:

Hey Bone- that is the herd I took pictures of a few months ago I believe. Was there one really big one?

I believe this is the Mt. Hull herd.  They had a hunting season for them...  Maybe the big one is on someone's wall?

The herd over in Loomis is pretty small.  Not sure how it has rebounded from problems they were having...

I think they killed a bunch of them because they mixed with domestic sheep, and they were afraid they would carry the disease back to the core herd.  I know one ram walked across Idabooners backyard clear over inthe Methow and that was their concern there.  He jumped into a pen with a bunch of exotics.  Probably thought he found an exotic strip club for sheep.
